The depth of Adam and Eve's fallen nature and the fallen nature of all their progeny was devastating to all humans. Only the redemption granted by grace through Jesus' substitutionary sacrifice could give liberation to His chosen people and grant a new inner nature of righteousness and Christlikeness.
